To provide bank-grade security without the hassle of typing complex passwords, Skandage supports Passkeys.
What is a Passkey?
A passkey allows you to log into your Skandage Dashboard using your device's built-in biometric security—like Apple FaceID, TouchID, or Windows Hello.
- It is un-phishable: Hackers cannot steal a passkey because it is physically tied to your specific phone or computer.
- It is instant: No more forgetting passwords or waiting for SMS verification codes. You just look at your screen or touch your keyboard, and you are in.
How to Set Up Your First Passkey
We highly recommend setting up a passkey on both your primary laptop and your mobile phone so you can access your dashboard securely from anywhere.
- Log into your Skandage Dashboard using your standard email and password.
- Navigate to Settings > Security.
- Under the Passkeys section, click + Register New Passkey.
- Your device will prompt you to authenticate (e.g., your MacBook will ask for your fingerprint, or your iPhone will scan your face).
- Name your passkey so you remember which device it is (e.g., "Work MacBook Pro" or "Personal iPhone").
That's it. The next time you log out and log back in, the system will simply ask for your fingerprint or face scan.
