System Settings

Customize the OS to fit your workflow. Navigate to the bottom of your sidebar and click Settings.

Appearance​

  • Dark Mode: Toggle the interface between light mode and our signature dark mode to reduce eye strain during late-night planning sessions.
  • Color Theme: Customize the system accent color (e.g., Sky Blue) to match your personal brand.

Preferences​

  • Notifications: Enable alerts so the system can remind you of expiring policies and upcoming client birthdays.
  • Default Currency: Set your base currency (e.g., SGD) for all retirement and wealth projections.

Data & Security (Local Backups)​

Because this is an offline OS, your data lives on your hard drive. It is crucial to back it up.

  • Export JSON: Click this to download a completely encrypted, local backup file of your entire client and policy database. Store this file securely.
  • Import JSON: If you upgrade to a new MacBook, simply install Skandage, click Import, upload your backup file, and your entire database will instantly restore.
